U.S. Marshals arrest second rapper in connection with video threatening police

The second in a pair of East End rappers wanted in connection with a YouTube video threatening to kill Pittsburgh police officers was arrested this afternoon, according to the U.S. Marshals fugitive task force of Western Pennsylvania.
Jamal Knox, 18, of East Liberty was arrested around 4:30 p.m. today in Homewood, according to a statement released by U.S. Marshals. Mr. "Knox was located hiding in the rafters of the attic during a search of the residence and taken into custody without further incident," U.S. Marshals said.
Mr. Knox was charged Nov. 16 with terroristic threats, intimidation of witness or victims, retaliation against witness or victims and conspiracy. He was also wanted on a Jan. 4 arrest warrant charging him with unlawful restraint of a minor, kidnapping of a minor and simple assault, according to online court documents.
The other rapper in the video -- Rashee Beasley, 21, of Garfield -- surrendered to Pittsburgh police in December, U.S. Marshals said.
In the YouTube clip, "Mayhem Mal" and "Solja Beaz," stage names adapted by Mr. Knox and Mr. Beasley, threatened to kill city officers and named two officers who work at the Zone 5 station in Highland Park, police say.
