Two shot in Northview Heights

Police are investigating a shooting in Northview Heights tonight.

Sgt. Patrick Knepp of Pittsburgh's Zone 1 station said the victims, two men ages 21 and 18, were in stable condition at a local hospital.

The victims were found in the 300 block of Mount Pleasant Road around 8:30 p.m. Sgt. Knepp said police believe the shooting occurred a few blocks away in the 1300 block of Chicago Street.

He said it was too early in the ongoing investigation to comment on events that led up to the shooting.
