State police seek escapee from Downtown Pittsburgh corrections center

State police have issued a warrant for an inmate who left a Downtown correctional facility by pulling a fire alarm.

Dana Fritz, 27, was serving time for a burglary conviction at the Renewal Community Corrections Center on Boulevard of the Allies. In a news release, state police said she pulled a fire alarm at around 3:45 Tuesday afternoon and walked out. She never returned.

Fritz will be charged with escape.
