A section of Emerson Street in Shadyside is closed for a repair project.
Work on the Pittsburgh Water and Sewer Authority project began Thursday and will continue from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. today.
During those hours, only emergency vehicles will have access to the section of Emerson between Kentucky Avenue and Howe Street.
