The pedestrian bridge linking Ellsworth Avenue in Shadyside to the Eastside retail complex in East Liberty is opening tomorrow, the Mosites Company reported.

The bridge's opening had previously been thought to be two weeks away but all that remain are cosmetic tweaks.

Gigi Saladna, a spokesman for the Urban Redevelopment Authority, said when the weather warms, a seal will be applied to the deck and that the artist, Pittsburgh native Sheila Klein, will paint it.
