Section of Seventh Avenue to close for hydrant line repairs

Seventh Avenue from Smithfield Street to Liberty Avenue will be closed for periods today and Sunday for hydrant line repairs, according to a Pittsburgh Water and Sewer Authority news release.

Site preparation will close Seventh from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. today, and repairs will close the street from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, PWSA said.

A PWSA contractor will complete the repairs, and all affected customers have been notified, PWSA said.
