Beginning Wednesday, part of Baytree Street in Perry North will be closed weekdays while Pittsburgh Water and Sewer Authority replaces a water main.

The 3600 block of Baytree will be open to local traffic and emergency vehicles only, 7 a.m.-5 p.m. Mondays through Fridays, the authority said in a news release. Parking also will be restricted for the duration of the project, which should be completed within 30 days.

The 8-inch water main is being replaced due to chronic breaks and extensive road damage.
