Pittsburgh's Public Works Department will hold a public meeting to discuss the future Greenfield Bridge replacement project from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at St. Rosalia Church, 411 Greenfield Ave.

The 91-year-old bridge has been crumbling for nearly 20 years, forcing the city to erect netting and build a structure beneath it to keep falling debris from reaching the Parkway East below.

The project will require full closure of the parkway for several days in late 2015 as the bridge is imploded.
