Portal Bridge work to restrict traffic in Downtown Pittsburgh

Lane closures are likely tonight and Thursday night on the side of the Portal Bridge that carries traffic from the Fort Duquesne Bridge to the Fort Pitt Bridge in Downtown Pittsburgh, PennDOT announced today.

Crews will replace an overhead sign structure. Restrictions are possible starting at 10 p.m. both nights, with work concluding by 5 a.m. the following mornings. Traffic in the opposite direction will not be affected.
