A Pittsburgh police vehicle crashed into a retaining wall and two other police cruisers sustained damage during a chase Friday night in the Manchester section of the city.
It was unclear if any police officers were injured in the crashes.
Police said three police cars were chasing a suspect for unknown reasons when one of the cruisers crashed while turning a corner at Chateau and Lake streets. The vehicle struck a fire extinguisher and a retaining wall. The police cruiser following that vehicle then scraped the back bumper of the car. That police cruiser and a third police vehicle kept going and apprehended the suspect at Stedman Street, police said.
Police did not release further details.
