Pittsburgh police are asking the public to help them find a man wanted in a string of Sheraden robberies.

Detectives from the city's Zone 6 station on the West End are currently trying to obtain a warrant for Diante Adams, 18, of Wilkinsburg, who might be armed, city police spokeswoman Diane Richard said in a news release.

The number of armed street robberies in Sheraden has spiked over the past month and detectives suspect a group of three or four men are responsible for at least four of them, Ms. Richard said.

She said police have already arrested Keith Adams, 19, of McKeesport, and Shamel Walls, 15, of Sheraden, in connection with some of the robberies. Both are being held in the Allegheny County Jail.

Anyone with information is asked to call Zone 6 detectives at 412-937-3051. Callers can remain anonymous.
