Police on Thursday recovered the second of two vehicles belonging to a Sheraden man who was found shot to death in his home the day before.
Officers found Ben Lewis, 44, in his living room in the 3100 block of Sacramento Street about 3:30 p.m. His dog and both vehicles were missing.
Later on Wednesday, an off-duty officer found his truck, a 1991 red Chevrolet S-10, in Sheraden Park, and his blue Pontiac Sunbird was found on Thursday about two miles away on Tuxedo Street.
Animal control officers found the dog on the scene, and police are investigating whether other items were stolen from the house.
Police have made no arrests and have not determined a motive.
