Warrant obtained in death of Allentown teen

Police obtained an arrest warrant for an East Liberty man and arrested an Allentown man in the Jan. 10 death of 16-year-old Deondre Pace, also of Allentown.
A warrant for the arrest of Ashanti Montgomery, 18, was issued Feb. 7 on charges of criminal homicide; conspiracy, criminal homicide; and carrying a firearm without license, according to court documents.
Marshall Addison, 20, was arrested Jan. 31 and is being held in the Allegheny County Jail on a charge each of criminal homicide and conspiracy, criminal homicide, according to court documents.
Pace was found shot in the chest on the 300 block of Beltzhoover Avenue around 7 p.m. Jan. 10. He was pronounced dead at 8:15 p.m. from a gunshot wound to the chest. The Allegheny County medical examiner's office ruled the death a homicide.
