Police investigating Downtown shooting

Police said two people are in stable condition tonight after being shot Downtown.
An emergency dispatch supervisor said two people were shot at Seventh Avenue and Fort Duquesne Boulevard around 7:55 p.m. The victims ran to Fifth Avenue and Smithfield Street, where they were taken to an area hospital. The dispatcher said both victims were conscious when they reached the hospital.
The city's homicide unit is investigating the shooting. Additional information was not immediately available.
