Pittsburgh police are investigating a robbery and shooting in Hazelwood Sunday afternoon.

Zone 4 police said the suspect followed a man up a set of stairs leading to a house in the 5000 block of Orinoco Street around 2:50 p.m.

He told the man he was selling CDs and when the man declined to buy any and began to walk away, the suspect shot him in the abdomen. The suspect then robbed a second person in the house and fled, police said.

The victim, who has not been identified, was in stable condition at UPMC Mercy Sunday evening. No arrests have been made.

Pittsburgh's robbery unit is investigating the incident and declined to provide additional details.
