Police investigate shooting in Homewood

Police are on the scene of a shooting in Homewood.

County emergency dispatch said the shooting occurred in the 7300 block of Hamilton Ave around 7:30 p.m.

A 19-year-old male was shot in the stomach and transported to UPMC Presbyterian in serious condition.

Information on a possible suspect was not immediately available.
