Police investigate shooting

Few details are available but police are investigating a shooting that left one person injured.

A man with a gunshot wound was driven by private vehicle to UPMC Mercy this morning. He showed up for treatment at 4:20 a.m., according to an emergency dispatch supervisor.

Authorities don't know as yet where the shooting occurred.
