Victim in Knoxville shooting identified

A man died after he was shot Thursday night in the city's Knoxville neighborhood.

Pittsburgh police today identified the victim as Randy Lewicki, 49, of Knoxville. Police said Lewicki was sitting on the front steps of his mother's house in the 100 block of Jucunda Street when he was shot in the side. He was taken to UPMC Mercy, where he died around 10:30 p.m.

Witnesses told police they heard one gunshot and then saw two men fleeing from the scene.

No arrests have been made.
