Pittsburgh police have arrested a woman accused of robbing the First National Bank in Shadyside last week.

Constables and officers from the city's Zone 3 station took Robyn Marie Kitt, 34, into custody Wednesday at a residence in the 400 block of Antenor Avenue.

A warrant had been issued for her arrest earlier in the day, according to a press release from police spokeswoman Diane Richard.

Ms. Kitt has been charged with robbery, in which police said she showed a black handgun and demanded money Feb. 14 from tellers at the bank on 800 S. Aiken Ave.

No customers were in the bank at the time and no one was injured, police said.
