Pittsburgh homicide detectives are asking for help identifying a man who may be able to provide them with more information about a Monday shooting.

A 29-year-old female was walking in the 7300-block of Hamilton Avenue in Homewood about 1:55 a.m. Monday when someone fired shots in her direction. A bullet struck her in her right thigh.

Police asked anyone with information about the shooting or the shooter to contact the homicide unit at 412-323-7161. Callers may remain anonymous.
