Woman shot in Market Square during Light Up Night

A woman was shot in Market Square after 9 p.m. Saturday during Light Up Night.
The victim was shot in the buttocks and was transported to the hospital. Her injuries are not considered serious, according to an emergency dispatch supervisor.
Market Square remained open and the Light Up festivities proceeded as planned.
