A paving project that has been done mostly at night and on weekends will cause daytime restrictions on Banksville Road in Pittsburgh and Dormont through early December, PennDOT announced this afternoon.

Lane closures are possible in the inbound lanes from Beverly Road to the Parkway West from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays, and outbound lane closures from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. At least one lane will be open in both directions at all times.

The weekday work began last week, spokesman Jim Struzzi said.

Night and weekend work will continue on the $4.7 million project.
