Pedestrian hit by bus Downtown

A woman was taken to the hospital in critical condition after she was hit by a bus Downtown tonight.
Police said the bus struck the pedestrian near the intersection of Forbes Avenue and Smithfield Street about 5 p.m. Medics transported the woman to UPMC Mercy. Her name has not been released.
