Parkway East work to close or restrict lanes, five ramps

The westbound side of the Parkway East will have single-lane traffic between Grant Street and the Fort Pitt Bridge at night this week, and five Downtown ramps will be closed or restricted.
The parkway work, sign installation, will begin at 9 p.m. today through Thursday and conclude by 5 a.m. the next morning.
These ramp closures and restrictions will occur during the same hours:
• Today and Tuesday, the ramp from Grant to the westbound parkway will close, as will the ramp from the westbound parkway to Stanwix Street;
• On Wednesday and Thursday nights, the ramp from Stanwix to the westbound parkway will be closed and single-lane traffic will be in effect on the off-ramp from the westbound parkway to Grant Street and the off-ramp from the Fort Pitt Bridge to Commonwealth Place.
