Parkway East 'bathtub' closed tonight, Tuesday night

The westbound side of the Parkway East section known as the "bathtub" will close tonight and Tuesday night for construction, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announced.
All westbound traffic will be required to exit at Grant Street starting at 9 p.m. both days. The detour follows Fort Pitt Boulevard to the Stanwix Street ramp to the parkway and to the Fort Pitt Boulevard ramp to the Fort Duquesne Bridge.
The highway will reopen by 5 a.m. the following days.
