One dead, three injured in Homewood shooting

A Pittsburgh man was killed today and three others were injured in an early morning shooting in Homewood.
Antwon Underwood, 27, was pronounced dead at the scene outside of Earl the Pearl bar in the 7200 block of Kelly Street. He had been shot in the chest and head, police said.Police said the shootings occurred about 2 a.m. after a fight erupted outside the bar and a man fired shots before fleeing the area.
Police said three other shooting victims left the scene to be treated at local hospitals: a 33-year-old man who was shot in the leg and stomach, a 26-year-old woman who was shot in the arm and a 32-year-old man who was shot multiple times.
One of the men had life-threatening injuries, a police spokesman said. The injuries to the other man and to the woman were not believed to be life-threatening.
Five police officers on patrol on Hamilton Avenue heard the shots about the same time calls came into 911. Officers were directed to 7230 Kelly St., where Mr. Underwood was down on the sidewalk.
No arrests have been made. Police are looking for an unidentified man who accompanied Mr. Underwood to the bar, came to the victim's aid after he was shot and was later seen running after another man along Kelly Street firing a gun at him. Police have released a photo taken from video surveillance and are asking anyone who recognizes him or has information on the shooting to call homicide detectives at 412-323-7161.
