A landslide that closed Noblestown Road in both directions between Obey Street in Crafton Heights and Weaver Street in Elliott has worsened and will take weeks to repair, Rob Kaczorowski, Pittsburgh public works director, said Thursday.

The slide occurred Nov. 4.

"Unfortunately, this area continues to slide and covers a vast area ... street closure will remain in effect for an undetermined time ... best measurement would be in weeks," Mr. Kaczorowski wrote in an email. "Our goal is to have it opened ASAP."
