Westbound traffic on the Parkway East will be restricted to one lane in the "bathtub" section near the Monongahela Wharf for the next three nights during repairs to the tunnel under Grant Street, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announced.

The restrictions will start at 9 p.m. and end at 5 a.m.

Also, a lane will close on the ramp from the westbound parkway to Grant Street from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. daily, today through Oct. 7. An overnight lane closure will also occur on the ramp from eastbound Fort Pitt Boulevard to the eastbound parkway. The ramps will remain open. The lane restrictions are needed for access while crews work on an overhead structure.
