The Monongahela Wharf will be closed for parking again on Friday, and the National Weather Service says rivers may rise enough to flood the 10th Street Bypass.

In a flood advisory issued today, it said the Ohio River was expected to crest at 22.8 feet Friday afternoon before falling back below 18 feet -- the level at which the wharf floods -- on Saturday night. The bypass begins to take on water when the river reaches 22 feet, which may occur tonight, the weather service said.

It also issued a flood warning for the Monongahela River at Elizabeth and Charleroi and the Cheat River at Rowlesburg, W.Va.
