Man shot in the leg on the North Side

A man was shot in the leg in the Mexican War Streets neighborhood, North Side.

An Allegheny County dispatch supervisor said the man was shot shortly after 8 p.m. in the 1500 block of Monterey Street. There was no word on his condition.
