Man shot in the Greenfield section of Pittsburgh

A man was shot in the stomach in Greenfield tonight.

An emergency dispatch supervisor said the shooting happened in the 3900 block of Coleman Street shortly after 9 p.m.

Police said the man, a college student in his 20s, was taken to a local hospital and is expected to survive.

Police do not yet have a motive for the shooting. Witnesses told them four people were seen fleeing the scene.

Officers with the city's Zone 4 station based in Squirrel Hill are leading the investigation.
