Man in custody 10 minutes after South Side bank robbery

Pittsburgh police took one man into custody less than 10 minutes after a robbery at a South Side bank this morning.

Emergency dispatchers received a call at 10:10 a.m. for a report that someone was robbing the PNC Bank in the 1700 block of East Carson Street.

Police had a suspect in custody less than 10 minutes later, a dispatch supervisor said.

Additional information was not immediately available.
