Man found stabbed multiple times in Uptown

Pittsburgh police are investigating an overnight stabbing that left a man in critical condition.

Police in the city's Zone 2 station said a 51-year-old man was found at about 3 a.m. Sunday unconscious with multiple stab wounds at Fifth Avenue and Stevenson Street, Uptown.

The man was taken to UPMC Mercy. No further information was immediately available.
