Man arrested after stealing tow truck, driving into house

A man stole a tow truck tonight on the North Side, ran it into a building when police pursued him, then fled toward the police station where he was apprehended.
The suspect, whose identity was not immediately available, stole the tow truck in Brighton Heights around 8:45 p.m., an emergency dispatch supervisor said.
Zone 1 police pursued the truck and the chase ended at 1246 Buena Vista St., where the suspect drove the truck into a house.
He was apprehended about a block away after running in the direction of the police station on Brighton Road.
No injuries were reported.
