Inspections to cause closures of Fort Pitt Tunnels overnight

Inspection of the Fort Pitt Tunnels will cause overnight closures in both directions on several days this month and in early December, according to PennDOT.
The inbound tunnel will close at 10 p.m. today through Thursday; on Sunday; and on Nov. 13, 14 and 15.
The outbound tunnel will close at 10 p.m. Nov. 19, 20, 26 through 29 and Dec. 2, 3 and 4.
Restrictions will be lifted by 5 a.m. daily.
The posted detour uses the West End Bypass and West Carson Street.
