Inmate stabbed at SCI Pittsburgh

An inmate at the State Correctional Institution Pittsburgh was stabbed in the back three times today.
Emergency dispatchers said the inmate was taken to Allegheny General Hospital in stable condition tonight to receive care for minor wounds.
Authorities are investigating the possibility that the inmate was stabbed by another inmate about 1 p.m.
Additional information was not immediately available.
