An unidentified pedestrian was struck by a vehicle at Bates and Atwood streets in Oakland this morning by a driver who fled the scene.

Pittsburgh police were looking for a dark-colored sedan, possibly a Chevy Cobalt, with front-end damage.

No information was available about the extent of the pedestrian's injuries.
