Fort Duquesne Bridge ramps to close for sign work

Removal and replacement of overhead signs and lighting on ramps near the Fort Duquesne Bridge will start at 10 p.m. today through Wednesday, causing detours.

Tonight, the ramp from the Fort Pitt Bridge to Fort Duquesne Boulevard will be closed. Traffic will be detoured using Liberty Avenue to Stanwix Street to Fort Duquesne Boulevard.

On Tuesday, the ramp from the Fort Duquesne Bridge to Fort Duquesne Boulevard will be closed. Traffic will be detoured using the 10th Street Bypass off-ramp making a right onto 10th Street, right onto Penn Avenue and right onto Ninth Street back to Fort Duquesne Boulevard.

On Wednesday, the ramp from the 10th Street Bypass to the Fort Duquesne Bridge will be closed. Traffic will use Fort Duquesne Boulevard to Stanwix Street to Fort Pitt Boulevard, using the on-ramp to the northbound Fort Duquesne Bridge.

Work concludes by 5 a.m. daily.
