First National Bank in Shadyside robbed

The First National Bank in Shadyside was robbed about 2:45 this afternoon, authorities said.

The woman brandished a black handgun and demanded money at the bank at 800 S. Aiken St., police said. Tellers gave her an unknown amount of money, police said.

Police are looking for a tall, light-skin black woman in her 30s, wearing a heavy multicolored scarf, black coat, black pants and white sneakers.

No customers were in the bank during the robbery, and no one was injured, police said.
