First National Bank branch robbed in Mount Washington

A First National Bank branch in Mount Washington was robbed this afternoon, Allegheny County police said.
The robbery was reported just after 2 p.m.
A person who answered the phone at the bank, who is not authorized to speak about the robbery, said no one was injured.
Pittsburgh police assigned to Zone 3 and county police declined to comment on whether there are any suspects or any money was taken or how the robbery attempt was made.
