Sparking wires possible cause of fire that damaged Oakland building

A fire struck 115 Oakland Ave. in Oakland Wednesday night, where a tattoo parlor and piercing shop are located, according to their websites.
The one-alarm fire broke out around 8:30 p.m. The Pittsburgh Bureau of Fire said about $15,000 worth of damage was done.
Jester's Court Tattoos and Hot Rod Piercing Co. are two doors down from popular Oishii Bento restaurant, which serves Korean and Japanese food.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation but was likely sparking wires. The Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission was notified this morning.
