Pittsburgh arson detectives are investigating a fire that caused a Homewood nightclub to collapse this morning.

The two-alarm fire was reported just before 4 a.m. at the New Brotherhood Motorcycle Club in the 7300 block of Frankstown Avenue. The Homewood Senior Center next door sustained water and smoke damage, investigators said.

No one was hurt.

Fire officials remained at the scene for hours because the flames rekindled.

The cause remains under investigation, according to a news release from the fire bureau, which estimated the damage to the building at $40,000.
