Festival this weekend to honor civil rights leader Rustin

A festival and conference this weekend will celebrate the legacy of Bayard Rustin, an influential, openly gay civil rights leader from Pennsylvania who would have turned 100 this year.
The Bayard Rustin Centennial Pittsburgh Festival and UN-Masked Conference runs tonight through Sunday.
Events include, but are not limited to, a World AIDS Day Memorial Service, 7:30 p.m. tonight at Heinz Chapel in Oakland; an opening reception from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at the August Wilson Center, Downtown, featuring a screening of "Brother Outsider"; and the UN-masked Conference addressing HIV and homelessness, 11:30 a.m. Saturday at the William Pitt Student Union in Oakland.
