The section of the light-rail transit line in Downtown Pittsburgh that had been shut down since Friday night was reopened in time for the Monday morning commute, Port Authority officials said.

The T line had been closed in the area after a vehicle derailed near the Wood Street Station, halting light rail service at Steel Plaza.

Bus shuttles had been operating between Steel Plaza and Allegheny Station.
