City seeking sustainability coordinator

Pittsburgh is seeking a new sustainability coordinator.

Lindsay Baxter, who has held the position since its creation about three years ago, will resign Wednesday.

The $47,000-a-year position involves promoting the city's green initiatives, working on educational initiatives and coordinating efforts with nonprofit environmental groups.

The position has been posted on the city's website at www.city.pittsburgh.pa.us. The application deadline is Feb. 11.
