CCAC briefly locks down campus after shots fired

The Community College of Allegheny County briefly locked down its North Shore campus and administrative offices this morning after shots were fired in the area.

Pittsburgh police said gunfire was reported near Galveston and North Lincoln avenues about 11:30 a.m. No one was struck.

As a safety precaution, CCAC locked down the campus for less than 15 minutes, spokesman David Hoovler said.
