Carnegie woman, 96, dies after hit by vehicle in Pittsburgh

A 96-year-old woman hit by a vehicle Monday in Pittsburgh's Bluff neighborhood died early this morning.

Anna Chaido, of Carnegie, was pronounced dead at 3:50 a.m., according to the Allegheny County medical examiner's office.

Ms. Chaido was on foot when she was struck by the vehicle about 8 a.m. Monday at Forbes Avenue and Jumonville Street, according to the medical examiner's office.
