Car hits boy, 13, in East Liberty

A 13-year-old boy was hit by a vehicle just before 3:30 p.m. at North Negley Avenue and Baywood Street in the city's East Liberty neighborhood, KDKA-TV reported.
According to emergency officials, the boy reportedly suffered head injuries. The severity of his injuries was not released, but he was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
