Pittsburgh police say a 4-year-old was found wandering a street in Homewood Saturday night.
Police said three women spotted the boy walking along Homewood Avenue around 10:30 p.m. and called police, who then brought the boy to the Zone 5 police station in East Liberty to be checked out by medics. The boy was not hurt, police said.
Police said the boy was supposed to be staying with his mother in Homewood but her whereabouts were not known late Saturday. The boy's father, who lives in the Hill District, came to the station to pick up his son.
It was unclear how long the boy had been outside or whether charges would be filed.
