An inmate at the Allegheny County Jail died tonight. An autopsy will be conducted Tuesday, according to the Allegheny County medical examiner's office.
After being hospitalized for several weeks, Larry V. Reitz, 46, was being transported back to the jail by a sheriff's deputy at about 6:15 p.m., Allegheny County sheriff's Lt. Jack Kearney said in a news release.
